The Vought Corsair is a famous fighter plane in WWII developed under U.S. Navy specification to replace the aging F2A and F4F. The F4U-1A is the improved version with a better visibility bubble-top canopy with a more powerful water-injection engine. A longer tail wheel leg also introduced for a smoother and safer carrier deck landing than her predecessor.
