Grumman worked closely with the navy on AEW(airborn early warning) durinbg WWII. Improved versions resulted in Hawkeye in 1960. This Unused plan was used in the 1970's. Radar range was 230 miles. 374 miles per hour was top speed and wingspan was 81 feet.
